Album artwork and design for the renowned portuguese musician Miguel Araújo’s album "Uma Noite na Philharmonie Luxembourg"
Miguel Araújo’s tour, at the time. involved a one man band concept so I decided to create characters that would display the versatility of his act by fusing the instruments and giving the aesthetic of a traveling band.
The album is a live recording of one of his shows in Luxembourg entitled “A night at Philharmonie Luxembourg“ so I wanted to include the beautiful design of the venue in the sleeves of the CD.
The style of the character was inspired by another illustration, that I made previously, that caught Miguel’s eye. I pasted the character with an entangled trumpet on a doorway of an abandoned building in Porto when I was doing street art more actively.
